It's begining to look a lot like Christmas!
So, I've been doing lots of crafting lately but I can't post anything yet because most of it's Christmas presents. so i decided to post some of my favorite decorations!!
This is my favorite nativity scene.
And my awesome vintage bobble-head Santa!! He's my favorite inherited Christmas item.
This is part of our HUGE village! Mr. Lawley's family gives us a few pieces every year! Right now we don't have the room to put it all out so we do rotate things through.
My "mantle" (yes, i realize it's not a traditional mantle but it's the closest thing i've got.) Don't mind the randomness of the bottom.
And my Christmas tree. Our tree is a bit of a mish-mash of ornaments. Mr. Lawley and i have a tradition that we give each other a new ornament every year. so we have those and then random ones that have somehow become super important to us. I love my random-mish-mash tree!

And I'm Back!!
I've seen all these super cute wreaths all over blog-land so i decided to attempt to make one myself. I love the way it turned out.
So I took these fabrics, wreath, glue gun, and buttons and made this:
I used 3 different sizes of glasses to make the flowers! it was fun to put the fabrics together to see how many different patterns i could make. Then i hot glued them together and glued them on the wreath! turned out rather lovely don't you think?

It's a Boy!!!
I'm headed to a baby shower on Saturday and instead of buying gifts I have decided to make them!! I'm pretty sure the {Mamma To Be} doesn't know this blog exists and so basically I decided I wanted to show off my gifts!!
This is the first tag blanket I've made... I think it turned out great!!
Lincoln even likes it!
Cute monkey's!!
Then I saw a tutorial for these onesies on Crap I've Made. I loved them!! It only took me about 2 hours to make all three!! The octopus is my favorite!
And last but certainly not least I made this super awesome Tag Owl!! I got the idea from Love Love. Took me forever, but i love how it turned out!!

Subway Art "Lawley-Pop" style
I love all the Subway art floating around blog world so I decided to make one for me and the Mr.
I decided to put all the fun places we have traveled on it!
I had a old cabinet door so I used my cricut and made all my words using different fonts and sizes, then mode podged em on the cabinet door. It was a super easy project, with some great memories attached to it. I can't wait to make more!!

Me & 'Ol Bessie (my 1970's sewing machine!!)
'Ol Bessie and I Have been busy, busy, busy lately!! We kind of have a love/hate relationship. As a self taught sewer, and learning new things everyday I have finally tackled the throw pillow!! I know, seems lame but it was scary to try something new! This is what I made today. Cute right? I made these to match the bigger pillows I'd made for my mom's front porch.
