So first I had to paint the frame, I found this really pretty green @ hobby lobby.
While the frame was drying I started on the inside. I had a really pretty plain lavender fabric that I decided to use as the backing. I made crib sheets a few months ago so i decided to use that same fabric to make the letters! (cute crib sheet fabric eh?)
After I decided which letters for which fabric I traced then on the fabric and cut them out. Easy so far huh?
After I positioned the letters on the lavender fabric "just right" I straight stitched them on.
After the frame was dry I hot glued the pink ribbon the edge just inside so that it poked out on the outside of the glass! Hard to explain but it looks cute. Then I just put the whole thing together.
It was a fun project and turned out just how I wanted it!! I'll have to post a pic of it on the wall in little Lucy's room.
